Assistant HR Manager

Assist for the full spectrum of the day-to-day operations of the HR functions such as Recruitment, Payroll Management, Compensation & Benefits, On/Off-boarding arrangement, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, counselling, and training and development.
- Assist HR Lead in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy as well as support current and future business needs through employee development, engagement, and preservation of human capital.
- Responsible for managing a performance appraisal, OKR system, training and development program that drives high performance.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and liaising with the team leaders to resolve issues.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, with a deep understanding of the Malaysia and Singapore Employment Act.
- Assist in reviewing and managing the development and implementation of all HR processes, policies and procedures, practices to meet legislative standards.
- Be a driver to nurture a positive working environment and provide support to all employees by actively encouraging an open-door policy.
- Responsible for general administrative matters such as office facility maintenance, cleanliness, non-trade purchase, business license renewal, tenancy renewal, and office security.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation (incl. SG & MY) including handling expat immigration matters
- Strong numerical skills, detail-oriented, always with a can-do and stretch-for-betterment attitude, able to work under stressful environments and tight deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, as need to liaise with Mandarin speaking colleagues.
- Detail-minded, able to work under pressure and handle multi-task and other ad-hoc projects.
- Willing to learn, proactive, responsible, well-organized, and independent.
- Growth mindset, and good team player, ability to multi-task and prioritize different requests
- Experience preferred in FMCG or any start-up environment.
**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
