**Sales Manager**

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and execute tour operations in alignment with agent and customer requirements for worldwide destinations.
- Drive business development efforts to expand the client base and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain a robust client database by identifying new prospects and strengthening existing relationships.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic recommendations to the Country Manager.
- Develop destination marketing materials highlighting unique selling points for clients and internal sales teams.
- Promote and upsell travel itineraries, activities, and destination experiences.
- Conduct pre
- and post-season reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate proposed itineraries for feasibility, profitability, and margin optimization.
- Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and site inspections.
- Resolve client issues and service-related matters promptly and professionally.
- Support management with strategic projects and special assignments as required.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum **7 years of proven sales experience** in the travel or hotel industry — preferably within a Destination Management Company (DMC) or travel agency.
- Strong professional network within the travel agent community is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and achieving sales targets.
- Solid understanding of travel operations and destination management processes.
- Experience working with multinational or foreign organizations is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, mature, and capable of working independently under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

**Salary & Benefits**

**Salary**: RM8,500 - RM12,000 per month
