Job Title : - Compliance & Risk Manager
Based in Kuching Sarawak
Salary : Upto 15k RM.

To work with Head of Compliance in ensuring that the company's business operations are conducted in full compliance with the law, regulations, ethical business practices, standards, and its internal control systems.

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**:

- The Manager will be managing Enterprise Risks issues which could impact the company’s profitability and reputation. The role includes identifying, assessing, and evaluating threats and to propose solution to avoid, reduce or transfer risks.
- Actively collaborate with other divisions on audit liaison, internal assessment utilising various frameworks and project consultations. This role will also be managing risk matters for SACOFA offices in the country.
- To ensure Board of Directors and Senior Management Committee have adequate oversight of the Enterprise Risk Management profile to ensure proper measure is put in place in managing the risk to the organization, its employees, customers, reputation, assets, and interests of stakeholders (shareholders, regulators).
- To ensure consistency of all related risk management policies, methodologies, and processes within the group.
- To ensure effective and timely implementation and management of project risk assessment.
- To provide independent risk assessment and readiness and development, new tools, and platform.
- To conduct risk and compliance assessments and reviews and updates.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare quality documentation and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure all employees are well versed on the latest regulations and processes.
- Ensure all policies are compliant against all applicable standards and law.
- Organize compliance related internal trainings to create awareness on new / changes to internal policies and procedures.
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by the HOD from time to time and whenever necessary.

**QUALIFICATION**:

- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Specialization in Financial Risk Management would be an advantage.
- Familiar with industry recognized risk framework.

Familiar with regulatory bodies’ assessment controls and requirement
- Experienced in dealing with internal and external auditors
- High level of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent in planning, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and Sharepoint. Power BI would be an advantage.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM14,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
