**About the Role**

The Junior Sous Chef - Cold Kitchen assists the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing the cold kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality cold dishes, salads, appetizers, and desserts. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to menu development.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Supervision & Training**: Lead and train the cold kitchen team, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and safety protocols.
- **Food Preparation**: Oversee the preparation of cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, and desserts, ensuring consistency and quality.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage inventory to minimize waste.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all cold dishes meet the hotel's quality standards and are prepared in a timely manner.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen sections to coordinate the preparation and service of dishes.
- **Hygiene & Safety**: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- **Menu Development**: Assist in the creation and testing of new cold dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience in a cold kitchen or similar role within a hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of cold food preparation techniques and presentation.
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
