**Position Overview**
Working closely with the Asia Business Operations and IT teams, this role will lead and align regional efforts to coordinate and deliver on multiple, large and interdependent projects supporting growth in the region.

Provides project leadership to implement the key projects led by Asia Business Operations contributing to the overall management of scope, budget and timelines to achieve the defined objectives.

Responsible for managing the output from multiple project teams and working groups, coordinating with IT and cross-functional stakeholders and to deliver reliable, secure, controlled administration platforms and processes in line with the business’ growing and maturing needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Work in collaboration with the Regional/ Global/ Local Operations and IT teams, to implement overall project management plans (including Project Charters, plans, schedules and budget) and activities within the region.
- Proactively identify and communicate interdependencies among numerous complex interrelated projects and enhancements (in-flight) through PMO processes for transparency and/or escalation as appropriate
- Work in collaboration with Change representatives to create and implement change management plan for new and ongoing projects and initiatives within the Asia Business Operations portfolio that maximizes employee adoption, usage and minimize resistance
- Support assessment of readiness for change across project and business for new projects and programs
- Support and manage necessary communication activities related to change
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders within RGA (including Underwriting, Finance, Valuation, Pricing, Claims, IT, Audit, Risk, Compliance etc.) to ensure project work is aligned to meet the business’s best interests.
- Establish and facilitate project meetings (communicate agenda, manage meeting time productively, accomplish meeting objectives, document action items and next steps).
- Contribute and help coordinate cross-functional decisions through proactive facilitation and dialogue.
- Schedule and coordinate rollout, training and implementation of process improvements and system deployments.
- Assess and track the project benefit realization to demonstrate tangible and intangible project and program value
- Assist with development of appropriate project artifacts, including but not limited to project management plans, change and communication plans and steering group presentations
- Work in collaboration with the working groups and stakeholders to identify, report and assist with mitigation plans to address key risks and dependencies; track the business operations activities in related projects.
- Responsible for regional input to project reporting, monitoring, governance and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, including escalations as necessary.

**Requirements** Education and Experience**

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Appropriate waterfall and agile project management certifications (e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile PM Foundation and/ or Agile PM Practitioner).
- Extensive, demonstrated project management experience.
- Minimum 5 years business experience.
- Minimum 2 years in insurance/ reinsurance industry
- Occasional travel in the region required.

Preferred:

- Graduate degree and/or relevant professional accreditations.
- Certification in Change Management (CCMP, Prosci or similar)
- Agile project management experience.
- Additional language abilities other than English (Chinese or Korean), a distinct advantage.

- Intermediate to advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with superior people management skills to effectively influence colleagues at all levels in an informal global reporting structure.
- Well organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and/or sub-teams simultaneously, including the ability to handle changing priorities.
- Versatile administrative and facilitation skills to keep the project team focused on its objectives.
- Advanced use of variety of tools and talent to organize information used to creatively and professionally lead broad teams in execution.
- Exceptional ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines.
