**Job Description**:
**The role**:
We are looking for an experienced Claims and Commercial Coordinator to join our Centre of Excellence (CoE), in Penang, Malaysia.

As a Claims and Commercial Coordinator, you will:
- Responsible to plan own workload and work within a high functioning team to coordinate with internal/external parties to ensure the effective processing of GF claims and contracts on daily basis.
- Minimized claim liability in line with the mandatory rules of the international conventions, customer contracts and standard trading conditions, noting these vary at times by country and customer.
- Liaising with legal counsel and insurers to strategize and suggest claim response options.
- Ensure standard requirements and information given by business on new contract review matter is verified and up to the defined standard. Send back for correction and coach the business on how to complete the tasks necessary.
- Maintain the reports of all claims for the region.
