Purpose of the Role
The Customer Support Representative is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer transactions, data entry, and operational support tasks. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective and professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support account management activities, including order processing and transaction coordination.
- Perform high-volume, repetitive data entry tasks with precision and consistency.
- Verify and validate data to ensure accuracy; identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Provide product and technical support related to customer transactions, feedback, and service requests.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations and service standards are met.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve issues in accordance with service agreements and established processes.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting of all customer and operational activities.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive and crucial information.
- Provide assistance or guidance to less experienced staff when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Data Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant operational or data processing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Comfortable working extended hours in front of a computer when business demands require.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
