We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Executive Business Monitoring** to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring solutions to support seamless and uninterrupted IT services and hardware

**Functional Responsibility**
- Build extensive knowledge of existing IT monitoring tools and their capabilities
- Lead discussions with IT support teams, gather requirements
- Develop monitoring solutions for timely identification of incidents and trends that could lead to an IT incident
- Identify automation opportunities and implement automatic remediation actions
- Ensure solution compliance to technical design standards and architecture
- Perform functional analysis and provide work estimates for new solutions

**Role Responsibility**
- Ensure all IT components are monitored from a business and technology perspective
- Implement efficient event management processes and automation;
- Configure and maintain central monitoring platforms;
- Perform daily health checks and break/fix support on monitoring platforms;
- Manage new technology integrations into monitoring systems;
- Provide event logging and historical repositories to aid in the investigation and prevention of incidents, problems, and service quality issues;
- Recommend the establishment or modification of current policies and standards where applicable;
- Improve continuous integration and delivery systems;
- Keep up to date with new DevOps trends and technologies

**Skills & Experience**
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with any of these monitoring tools is an advantage: CheckMK, Nagios, Prometheus, Thruk, LogicMonitor, Pingdom, Loki, Elasticsearch
- Experience with Linux and bash/Powershell is an advantage
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud concepts
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; knowledge of how to leverage large amounts of data and technology
- Creative thinking with a high degree of innovation and self-motivation
- English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
