At IEC Plant Engineering, we are a leading Engineering Company specializing in the Design and Manufacture of Process Equipment. As part of our expansion efforts, we are actively seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join us as a Senior Human Resource Executive.
**Position: Human Resource & Admin Executive**
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Human Resource Executive, you will play a vital role in shaping our workforce and ensuring a smooth and efficient HR operation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for Recruitment - direct and non-direct recruitment, local and foreign nationality.
- Providing comprehensive HR solutions and advice to address various personnel matters.
- Managing HR activities such as payroll preparation, employment contracts, employee welfare, and training initiatives.
- Overseeing day-to-day administrative operations to ensure the organization runs seamlessly.
- Maintaining meticulous HR records and documents in an organized manner.
- Generating insightful management reports related to HR metrics and trends.
- Offering clear interpretation and guidance on company policies and procedures for employees.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on disciplinary issues in line with labor laws and company regulations.
- Monitoring and facilitating the renewal of working permits for expatriates and foreign workers.
- Engaging with labor office, immigration, and other relevant government bodies.
- Undertaking ad hoc assignments and activities as directed by the company.
**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A recognized university degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources.
- Strong familiarity with Malaysia's Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967.
- Experience in using Payroll/Attendance software is an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Extensive experience in managing industrial and employee relations.
- Approachable, resourceful, and a good listener.
- High ethical standards, analytical skills, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Reliability, maturity, independence, and self-motivation.
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Possessing good business sense and judgment.
