Our client is renowned company in the **Petrochemical **industry. Located in **Ara Damansara**, they are looking for a seasoned **New Business Development Manager **to spearhead their business goals

**SALARY Upto : RM15,000**

**Job Title: Financial Controller**
**Job Grade : EG4 (Manager I)**
**Department : New Business Development**
**Qualification : Possess at least a recognised University Degree in the relevant field of business studies.**

**CHINESE SPEAKING CANDIDATE**

**Possess a Professional qualification such as ACCA, MICPA or CPA equivalent. A master’s degree is a plus.**

**Experiences**:

- At least **four (4) years relevant** **experience **in the New Business Development function with leadership capacity.
- Experience of at least **two (2) years in the trading/distribution industry** is a plus point.
- Experience managing a strategic function and complete cycle of activities from planning, project evaluation and business development.
- Track record of building, motivating and delivering results from the team effort.

**Skills**:
1. Possess a good command of written & spoken English & Malay.
2. Proficient in the use of MS Office, especially on PowerPoint/presentation software.
3. Knowledge of supply chain management/logistics.
4. Has the ability to strategize and solve problems using a creative and innovative mindset.
5. Possess an eye for opportunities - able to spot business opportunities.
6. Possess strong leadership and organisational skills such as excellent communication, collaboration and motivation skills.
7. Possess Business Acumen & with entrepreneurship self-driven motivation. 8. Customer-centric.
9. Having built up its network of counterparties over the years is preferable but not essential.
10. The job requires the incumbent to be widely read and constantly alert on all market developments in the regional and international markets, especially in Petrochemical Industry.
11. Ability to plan well, formulate and consolidate business objectives and strategies that are translated into an achievable Business Plan and greatly contributed to ensuring maximum revenue potential and effective running of the business.

**Job Description, Function & Responsibility**:
**A) Purpose**

The role aims to align the Group's objectives with its Vision and Mission, drive profitability through effective performance monitoring, secure new projects, enhance processes, and manage the New Business Development Department.

**B) Business Plan and Strategy**

The focus is on leading the creation and execution of the Group's long-term objectives, strategies, and plans. This involves analyzing its internal strengths and external position, ensuring business growth and alignment with the company's vision, and formulating annual business plans based on past achievements and future prospects.

**C) Improvement of Business Process**

This role involves leading the analysis, development, and implementation of current and new business processes. It aims to enhance value and efficiency by identifying and removing unnecessary complexity. The role also focuses on establishing innovative methods for operational excellence by finding cost and time-saving activities, leading to increased revenue through value-added efforts. Additionally, the role offers guidance to internal stakeholders on business process risks and issues, providing practical solutions when needed.

**D) Project Detailed Feasibility Study**

To lead the commercial assessment and help identify opportunities in expediting business ventures and the viability of a strategic intent through a Feasibility Study incorporating commercial, technical and economic evaluation on the market, infrastructure, logistics, legal, environment, risk and social economy to ensure its strategic fit to the Group.

**E) Financial Review**

Promote improvement in business performance through periodical assessment of business exposures and measurement of performance indicators based on the financial performance of the Company and provision of advice and recommendations to the Board of directors.

**F) Leadership**:
To build a skilled team, fostering high-performance culture, and nurturing staff capabilities. This is achieved through talent assessment, instilling integrity, offering leadership coaching, and ensuring smooth internal successions. The leader stays informed about the market and proposes strategies for growth, while also enhancing the team's expertise through industry practices and training. Regular team meetings are held to address concerns, share successes, and provide guidance.

**F) Risk Management**

designing and overseeing risk management processes to ensure compliance and control in the Group. The goal is to establish transparent risk management for marketing activities, with an emphasis on diversifying and minimizing risks across products, counterparts, and countries.
