Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Teaching**: Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and seminars in areas such as hotel operations, food and beverage management, tourism, hospitality marketing, and event planning.
- **Curriculum Development**: Contribute to the development and updating of course materials to ensure they are relevant to industry trends, academic standards, and student needs.
- **Student Assessment**: Develop assessments, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to students to aid their learning and development.
- **Academic Advising**: Provide guidance and mentorship to students regarding academic progress, career paths, and research projects.
- **Research and Scholarship**: Conduct research in hospitality management, publish in academic journals, and contribute to the growth of the institution’s academic reputation.
- **Industry Engagement**: Foster relationships with industry professionals and organizations to keep abreast of the latest trends and provide students with practical insights into the hospitality sector.
- **Professional Development**: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest hospitality management practices and teaching methodologies.
- **Departmental Contribution**: Participate in departmental meetings, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, and support institutional events and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Education**: A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Previous teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred; practical experience in the hospitality industry is a significant advantage.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of hospitality management, hotel operations, food and beverage management, tourism, and customer service.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- **Industry Connections**: Ability to leverage industry networks for educational and research purposes.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
