Lead Sourcing and Recruiting Specialist

**Job Description Summary**: Own the design and delivery of the full spectrum of Talent Acquisition activities, from research, sourcing, interview, offer and all of the operational and administrative work associated with hiring. GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.

**Role Overview**:

- Responsible for regional (ASEAN, Japan and Korea) professional hiring, predominantly junior to senior internal and external hires across all business functions, blue collar hiring, internship and leadership program hiring
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop an expertise in their business and talent needs, helping to develop and manage talent pools and pipelines
- Utilize proactive and innovative sourcing strategies utilizing various techniques to meet the hiring demand of the business
- Challenge current processes and highlight opportunities to improve on our Lean journey
- Coach People Leaders / interviewers to incorporate capability / competency based assessments during their interview
- Maintain strategy to attract a diverse workforce to the company by hiring talented people of diverse backgrounds, experiences and styles
- Effectively use social media tools in alignment with GE’s Brand Strategy
- Provide ad hoc market intelligence data to business, combine information (talent market trend, threats, opportunity, etc.) to be used at business strategy level
- Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.

**Required Qualifications**
- Proven experience of minimum 7 years in talent acquisition, sourcing and recruitment
- Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in wing-to-wing including sourcing, interviewing and offers
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
- Understanding of labor legislation and employment laws.
- Good awareness of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Drive recruitment events e.g. job fairs, and campus networking sessions
- Team Player, strong communicator, analytical and problem solver

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Regional experience in Malaysia, Japan, Korea and Singapore markets is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and improve processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of employer branding strategies and techniques
