**Company Profile**

Established in 1976 as a rattan furniture manufacturer under Cosmopolitan Business Agencies (CBA), the company has changed its operations to training and consultancy in 1989. In 2004, CBA officially changed its name to MIT Academy Sdn Bhd.

MT Academy is the technical college offering diploma courses for mechatronics and mechanical engineering to school leavers accredited by Ministry of Education and Department of Skills Development (DSD). To date, we have provided education and training to almost 5,000 students and trainees throughout Malaysia and Vietnam.

Global conglomerate, Bosch Rexroth, the German lead of Industry 4.0 and OMRON (Japan) have appointed MIT Academy to operate Licensed Training Centre Programmes to up-skill engineers and technicians in Malaysia. MIT Academy is also the Authorised Training Centre of Autodesk (US) and Technology Partner of Fanuc (Japan).

Beginning 2019, we have launched the first STEM school called MITstem International School in Malaysia. At MITstem, we are committed to provide meticulous and technological enhanced curriculum and learning experiences. Our students will gain Cambridge IGCSE certificate, STEM certification, Licensed Technology Certificate and _STEMera_hybrid certificate when completing the secondary education successfully.

**Marketing and Sales Job Purpose**:
Researches and develops various marketing strategies for programmes and services.
Implements marketing plans and works to meet sales quotas.
Tracks marketing and sales data and identifies areas of improvement.

**Marketing and Sales Job Duties**:

- Contributes information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies
- Helps to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each programme or service being offered
- Sets marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
- Develops sales strategies and approaches for various programmes and services, such as special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
- Answers questions from clients about programme and service benefits
- Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
- Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas or sales team goals
- Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
- Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers and executives
- Helps to interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the company's marketing and sales teams
- Assigns specific employees to marketing and sales projects or client accounts as needed
- Implements and adheres to company policies and procedures
- Attends trade shows and travels to conduct sales and marketing activities as needed
