About Us:
We are leading global brand with over 10 years of experience, specializing in providing online game stores and distribution platforms for live streamers, gamers, game developers, and publishers. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager / HOD based in Kuala Lumpur.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within the gaming industry.
- Qualify leads from both internal and external sources and perform targeted outreach to generate new business.
- Understanding of cross-border payment mechanisms and standards throughout Southeast Asian countries is essential.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including gaming publishers, developers, distributors, and retailers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to support sales initiatives and product launches.
- Travel to gaming events around the world to evangelize the capabilities including speaking opportunities and thought leadership.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for all parties involved.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and market trends to management.
- Stay updated on industry developments, gaming trends, and competitor activities to inform business strategies and decision-making.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, generate leads, and promote company products and services.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Possess more than 3 years progressive experience in Game industry
- Ability, willingness and comfort to operate in a highly uncertain, fast-paced environment where priorities might change and resources might be limited.
- Has a strong network of contacts in the games and entertainment industry.
- Experience in working with international partners and global/regional partnerships.
- Must be able to immediately handle a significant workload and effectively prioritize projects with a high degree of autonomy.
- Has proficiency in **English & Mandarin **for both writing and speaking.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
