**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**OVERVIEW**

We’re looking for a driven and strategic **HR Manager** to power the people engine behind our growing **retail brands**. You’ll be the go-to leader for everything HR from hiring and culture to performance and compliance supporting multiple brands under **AFED Holdings**. If you thrive in fast-paced retail environments, know how to lead with empathy and data, and have a sharp eye for talent, this is your stage. Bonus points if you’ve worked in **F&B,**we love people who know the hustle of food and beverage retail.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Build and drive HR strategy** to support our retail operations and people goals
- **Lead recruitment efforts**—from head office to frontline store teams
- Create **onboarding experiences** that make people feel welcome and ready
- Roll out **performance reviews, training, and development** plans
- **Advise leaders and managers** on employee relations and team performance
- Design programs to **boost engagement, culture, and retention**:

- Ensure **HR policies** are clear, up-to-date, and aligned with local labor laws
- Manage **compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination**:

- Maintain and improve **HR systems, data, and reporting tools**

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in **Human Resources**, **Business Administration**, or a related field
- Minimum of **12 years of progressive HR experience**, with at least **5 years in a managerial or leadership role**:

- Proven background in **retail HR** operations; **experience in F&B retail** is a strong advantage
- In-depth knowledge of **labor laws**, **HR compliance**, and **best practices** across recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to **build relationships across all levels** of the organization
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to manage both **strategic HR initiatives** and **day-to-day operations** in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in **HR systems (HRIS)** and data reporting tools; confident using analytics to guide decision-making
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
