**Job Summary**:
At MBO Cinemas, we bring communities together through great movies, fun experiences, and local engagement. We’re seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Local Marketing Executive to drive our digital content, promote our cinema locations, and connect with moviegoers through impactful online and on-ground campaigns.

This role is central to enhancing MBO’s brand presence and driving footfall through strategic content, community engagement, and localized marketing efforts.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Social Media Management**
- Plan, create, and schedule daily content for MBO’s official social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments, and manage DMs to maintain positive online presence.
- Collaborate with design team to ensure all visuals follow MBO’s branding and studio guidelines.

**2. Content Development & Campaigns**
- Develop engaging content for movie releases, cinema promotions, concession products, and ALLSTAR loyalty programs.
- Manage campaign calendars around blockbuster titles, school holidays, festive periods, and local events.
- Work with influencers and partners for promotions, screenings, and user-generated content.

**3. Local Area Marketing (LAM)**
- Create location-specific marketing content to promote individual MBO cinemas and their unique offerings.
- Execute community-based activations, partnerships, and promotions to increase awareness and attendance.
- Coordinate with cinema teams to support local outreach initiatives and promotional events.

**4. Advertising & Performance**
- Manage and execute targeted paid ads across social platforms to drive ticket sales and brand awareness.
- Track key metrics (reach, engagement, click-through rates, conversions) and prepare weekly & monthly performance reports.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and digital innovations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in marketing or related field. Experience in Mall Marketing would be preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in collaborating with teams and management.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite - Words/Excel/Power Point.
- Strong budget management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to execute tasks effectively and accurately.
- Possess a positive and forward-thinking attitude.
- Capable to communicate well and effective with internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Creative, flexible and able to work under pressure.
- A multitasker.
- Willing to work outside of business hours.
- Great sense of accountability and ownership. Results-driven.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
