Executive - Food Services and Quality Assurance

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure proper implementation of food safety management system at restaurants.
- Conduct internal food safety audit (HACCP, GMP, food hygiene and pest control inspection) at restaurants as scheduled.
- Plan, coordinate and execute HACCP audit with relevant departments and third-party auditor.
- Coordinate and provide food safety and quality related trainings to restaurant staff when necessary.
- Manage the calibration of measuring devices and ensure the execution of internal and external calibration program for measuring devices within validity.
- Ensure proper update, maintenance and distribution of HACCP manuals and documents to the relevant parties.
- Ensure proper implementation of hygiene at restaurants.
- Review pest control program effectiveness.
- Coordinate and execute pest control inspection with pest control operator.
- Liaise with Maintenance Department or Design and Construction Department on necessary pest proofing.
- Identify fly trap requirement and arrange installation for restaurants.
- Arrange dish washer installation and chemical dispensers for new restaurant.
- Verify invoices related to pest control service, fly trap, dish washer, sanitary bin and air freshener rental.
- Ensure proper implementation of occupational safety & health management system at restaurants.
- Conduct internal safety audit at restaurants as scheduled.
- Compile and report incidents to Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) / Jabatan Keselamatan & Kesihatan Pekerja (JKKP) within deadline.
- Ensure proper update and maintenance of safety and health documents.
- Develop and review cleaning procedures.
- Participate in continual quality/operations improvement activities.
- Report to supervisor on any food safety non-conformance issue arises.
- Provide feedback and suggestion to management on necessary areas of improvement.
- Coordinate to ensure proper follow-up from Operations and other relevant departments on necessary actions.
- Prepare yearly budget and ensure expenses within budget.
- Prepare activity reports, i.e. WIP, and management report, etc.
- The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

- It shall be the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for safety and health of himself / herself and other person.

**Special Skills**:

- Leadership and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, passionate and committed at work of F&B environment.
- Possess positive analytical and critical thinking in trouble-shooting.
- Good interpersonal and proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia verbal and written communication.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Food Science & Technology or equivalent
- Certified ISO22000/HACCP Lead Auditor and Food Handler Trainer will be additional advantage
- Own a valid driving license and transport and willing to travel within Malaysia extensively.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
