**What You’ll Do**
As a Business Development Manager, you will be a part of our new and growing Sales team in APAC. You will become the main driver of our expansion in the region and drive revenue growth, as well as be responsible for all aspects of the Sales process, including lead generation & qualification, discovery calls, proposal preparation all the way through to contract negotiation and deal closing. This person must be a self-starting closer who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time. This role will require a sales athlete who is hungry and driven with an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed. This role is able to work remotely.
**Responsibilities**:
- Execute a repeatable sales process beginning with lead qualification and discovery all the way through to contract negotiation and closing
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
- Utilize CRM to track customer activities, update data, and process competitive information
- Drive: Must have a hunter mentality to expand 1datapipe’s identity and risk-scoring solutions adoption with tier-1 financial enterprises through value-based selling and clearly articulating our platform differentiation
- Demo products to prospective customers and conduct discovery calls to identify customer needs and solutions
- Prepare proposals, SOWs, and sales presentations for prospective customers
- Consistently generate pipeline to ensure healthy quarterly pipeline coverage
- Report weekly sales forecasts and performance metrics
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Maintain accurate and current account and opportunity forecasting within internal sales tools
- Execute a consultative sales process in order to align client issues and needs with solutions
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5+ years of strong performance in a SaaS sales role in data and analytics, identity and fraud management, and credit risk related solutions
- Experience closing and demonstrating success in data technology sales in high 6 or 7 figure deals
- Experience working at one of the major credit bureaus a strong plus
- Strong working knowledge and comfortable selling identity and risk-scoring solutions
- Self-directed, highly organized working style; doesn’t let things fall through the cracks
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and expectations
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable speaking clearly and concisely in real-time presentation environments
- Ability to build trust with technical and business decision-makers, including C-Level buyers, to close in a competitive environment
- Strong negotiating skills and closing techniques.
- Ability to execute, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
