Service Desk Analyst

The Service Analyst role is part of the IT function's Service Management track. You will provide Service Delivery using ITIL methodology best practices, focusing on Incident, Problem, and Knowledge centered support. You will report to the Process Lead, Specialist, and have the opportunity to work remotely. **Main Responsibilities** - Strong customer service skills and the ability to deal all types of customer service requests - Effectively interact with a diverse user base - Learn the following infrastructure support components - PPG standard desktop, tools & utilities - Server operating systems, tools & utilities - IT networks and voice services - IT security and Disaster recovery - Process control and monitoring - Develop effective troubleshooting skills - Good technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business - Networks with other PPG Analysts to understand how IT solutions are deployed in other areas to solve business problems. **Qualifications** - A 4 year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline or equivalent experience - 1-2 years of IT or a related discipline experience - Analytical and conceptual skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Must have a strong systems and process orientation - Must be comfortable working remotely and lack of face-to-face time with colleagues and managers. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
