**Key Role Objectives: -**

The main role of the Operations Manager in the MARA Liner School Bus Services Department, who will collaborate with the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) and be responsible for overseeing operations in the states involved in the project, is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of school bus services for the Orang Asli communities across the state. The Operations Manager will be involved in management, monitoring, and coordination to ensure all aspects of the operation run smoothly.

**Principle Accountabilities:

**1. **Collaborate with MLSB management, strategic partners, and transport operators for implementation.

**2. **Improve the standard of living of the Orang Asli to be on par with mainstream society.

**3. **Ensure vehicles are in good condition and meet safety standards to operate effectively.

**4. **Monitor the GPS and FMS systems to track vehicles in operation.

**5. **Responsible for preparing all operational reports for the Head of Department.

**6. **Communicate with senior management to develop operational goals to achieve project objectives.

**7. **Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

**8. **Monitor and analyse operational metrics to assess performance and implement improvements.

**9. **Collaborate with department heads to plan and execute objectives and initiatives aligned with Company goals.

**10. **Manage operational budgets and resources, ensuring proper allocation and usage.

**11. **Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and maintain high-quality standards.

**12. ** Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

**13. **Visit field areas to monitor vehicle movement.

**14. **Ensure student safety is guaranteed through the services provided by MLSB.

**15. **Report student attendance data to the administration and finance unit for claim purposes.

**Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management, transport operations, and logistic or related industries.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
- Proactive and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using transportation management system / software and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
