**Position Overview**:
The **Protégé - RTW Account Assistant** will assist the finance and accounts team in performing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and administrative support. This entry-level role is tailored for recent graduates seeking real-time working (RTW) experience in accounting and finance, offering hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, payment processes, and corporate financial procedures.

**Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
- Or equivalent accounting certification (e.g., LCCI, Diploma in Accounting)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in data entry for accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger transactions.
- Help prepare monthly financial reports, payment vouchers, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- Support in managing petty cash claims, staff reimbursements, and filing of financial documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams for billing and payment follow-up.
- Ensure all transactions are properly documented and recorded in compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits, tax submissions, and internal reviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and assist in administrative duties as required.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Accounts Executive or Finance Manager.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS) is an advantage.
- Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn, with a proactive and responsible attitude.
- Understanding of SST, e-Invoicing, and local tax regulations is a plus.

**Job Types**: Contract, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ara Damansara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
