**Position Overview**:
The **Protégé - RTW Quantity Surveyor Assistant** will support the Quantity Surveying (QS) team in cost management, tendering, contract administration, and project budgeting. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates seeking hands-on, real-time working (RTW) experience in the construction and property development industry.

**Background Study**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying,
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management,
- or Other related fields

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
- Support in evaluating contractor bids and preparing cost comparisons.
- Monitor project costs to ensure they remain within the approved budget.
- Conduct site visits to measure and value work completed and assist in preparing progress reports.
- Assist in preparing interim valuations, progress claims, and variation orders.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure project efficiency.
- Help track project costs and monitor actual expenditures against budgets.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to gather required data for costing and procurement.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of all QS-related materials.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Basic knowledge of standard methods of measurement.
- Familiar with tendering processes, contract terms (e.g., PAM, PWD), and project cost control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software is an advantage.
- Good mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and contracts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in both office and site environments.

**Job Types**: Contract, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ara Damansara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
