Approach new customers and service existing customers.
- Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
- Meet buyers and decision makers, obtain sales enquiries from them, and get our company added to their approved supplier list.
- Perform commercial & technical review on customer contracts and project requirements.
- Negotiate contract terms and project requirements that are not cost-effective, unfavorable to our company, beyond our capabilities, etc.
- Assist in preparing quotations, including costing calculations, lead time calculations, review of drawings, technical specifications and commercial terms.
- Provide clear instructions on order requirements to other departments, in order to enable smooth order fulfilment.
- Negotiate and solve problems after orders are closed e.g. due to delays, quality issues, change in requirements, payment disputes, etc.
- Document and acknowledge customer instructions for order variations and deviations.
- Monitor orders to control costs, update customers on order status and ensure on-time delivery.
- Expedite and escalate orders to internal and external stakeholders as necessary, to minimize any delay to customers.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years sales experience, preferably in bolting, piping, structural steel or similar industry.
- Matured and independent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Table etc.)
- Diploma or higher Education in any field.
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- 5½ day working week.
- Possess own transport and valid driving license.
- Willing to travel overseas as needed.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
