International Freight Manager

**Job Scope**:

- To generate sales revenue for the freight department.
- Receive enquiries and accurately input orders into the system.
- Identify customer needs and ensure clear communication to related internal departments.
- Co-ordinate between Freight Department internally and externally.
- Maintain existing customer base through effective customer service skills.
- Able to source competitive rates from Shipping Liners & agents.
- Responsible for liaising with and auctioning incoming calls from both internal & external customers, suppliers and Agents regarding Freight shipments/bookings.
- Preparing Bill of Lading (Seawaybill, Surrendered b/l, Original b/l & House b/l).
- Connection with external agencies for both import & export oversea counterpart.
- Notify customers of any activities that may result in late delivery.
- Handle customers’ complaints timely. Take lead with related internal departments to ensure on time closure/update of complaints
- Familiar with Ports System.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Work Experience Requirements**
- Successful working experience
- Proven customer support experience
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently & to carry out assignments till completion within parameters of instructions given & standard accepted practices.
- Familiar with international freight and procedures
