To ensure that all merchandise received are supported by proper document i.e. purchase order, market list, grocery list, etc.
- To ensure that quantity and quality of merchandise are checked against the order and ensure that items are properly invoiced and documented.
- To inform Purchasing Manager of any discrepancies on goods received.
- To prepare daily receiving summary and submit same to Cost Control and Account Payable.
- To ensure that all merchandise received is acknowledged by the Storekeeper or department concerned.
- To ensure that all good are safely delivered to the storeroom or department concerned.
- To ensure that all equipment are in good working condition (weighing scale, trolley, etc).
- To liaise with Purchasing on outstanding purchase order or goods not received.
- To perform any other related task this may be assigned from time to time by the Superior.
