JOB PURPOSE

Business development

Acquiring new customers and growing existing portfolio of medium and large Corporate segments by offering product solutions to assist the customer' business models and ultimately contributes to the Bank's profitability and growth.

Portfolio Management

  1. Responsible in optimum utilization of banking facilities and growth of portfolio while maintaining account relationship with both existing and prospective customers.
  2. Responsible for all credit aspects of the relationship including annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial management.
  3. Proactively monitor the asset quality of customers in the portfolio by detecting early warning signs and to promptly undertake or initiate debt/financing restructuring, rescheduling or legal recovery action, as applicable.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Achieve KPI performance and contributed to the department's growth/ revenue for a defined business segment, as per approved annual budget;
  2. Monitor overall facility utilization and profitability of assigned portfolio;
  3. Identify customer needs and capture new financing and / or cross selling opportunities, negotiate for best margins to optimize account profitability.
  4. Build rapport and develop meaningful networking in the customer's organization;
  5. Provide support and advice to potential customers on business models, project financing and deal structures.
  6. Responsible for managing personal portfolio.
  7. Ensuring timely submission of annual reviews, facilities granted are adequately utilized, and good account conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  1. Possess a recognized Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance or related discipline.
  2. CCP is an added advantage.

Experience

  1. At least 3-5 years with working experience in business/ commercial/ corporate banking.
  2. Good knowledge of the broad range of banking products.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  1. Independent, self-motivated, resourceful and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  2. Strong knowledge of Banking product.
  3. Good analytical skills in financial accounts and well versed in cash flow analysis.
  4. Good in financing/loan structuring for working capital, project financing and loan syndication/club deal as well as restructuring and rescheduling of impaired accounts.
  5. Good planning and organizing skills.
  6. Result oriented and able to work as a team
  7. Fluent in both spoken and written English.
