Position : Business Development Executive

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and business opportunities within the education and TVET ecosystem. This role focuses on student recruitment, industry collaboration, institutional partnerships, and programme growth to support the organisation's expansion and revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Partnerships

  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities with schools, higher learning institutions, government agencies, industry partners, and training providers.

  3. Build and maintain strategic partnerships related to education, TVET, certification, and skills development programmes.
  4. Prepare proposals, concept papers, and collaboration frameworks aligned with organisational goals.

  5. Student Recruitment & Programme Growth

  6. Support student enrolment initiatives for TVET, certification, and professional programmes.

  7. Coordinate with agents, schools, and corporate partners to drive intake targets.
  8. Participate in education fairs, roadshows, briefings, and promotional activities.

  9. Industry & Government Engagement

  10. Liaise with relevant authorities and bodies such as MOE, MOHR, MQA, JPK, HRD Corp, and related agencies.

  11. Assist in programme accreditation, compliance, and reporting requirements where applicable.
  12. Monitor education and TVET trends, policies, and funding opportunities.

  13. Sales, Reporting & Administration

  14. Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets.

  15. Prepare regular progress reports, pipeline updates, and market analysis for management.
  16. Maintain accurate records of partners, leads, and collaborations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Management, or a related field
  • Certification or exposure to TVET frameworks (SKM, DKM, Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia) is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, or partnership management.
  • Prior experience in education, training, or TVET sectors is required.
  • Experience working with institutions, government agencies, or industry partners is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of the education and TVET ecosystem in Malaysia.
  • Ability to prepare professional proposals and business documents.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is an advantage.

  • Willing to travel and attend events when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
