About the role

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team at KETECH ASIA SDN. BHD. in Cyberjaya, Selangor. This full-time role to support the company's business growth by preparing tenders, sourcing suppliers, and identifying new business opportunities in line with company objective in the defense industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, review and submit tender documents for government, GLC, and private sector projects
  2. Maintain a strong pipeline of potential tender opportunities and manage the end to end tender process
  3. Ensure all tender submissions comply with client requirements, company standards, and industry regulations
  4. Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
  5. Attend to clients needs and respond to suppliers concerns in a timely and professional manner
  6. Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  7. Maintain strong relationships with client, suppliers, and internal department
  8. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
  9. Prepare regular reports on tender activities and pipeline progress
  10. Participate in meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required
  11. Achieve KPIs related to tender preparation, supplier sourcing, information gathering, and business development

Requirements

  1. Minimum 2-3 years experience in tender preparation and supplier sourcing
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  3. Proven track record of identifying, pursuing and winning high-value tenders or contracts
  4. Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with and influence senior-level stakeholders
  5. Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills to manage a busy pipeline of activities
  6. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
