About the Role

The Officer, Contract is responsible for supporting the full cycle of contract administration in construction projects. This includes assisting with subcontractor registration, tender processes, contract documentation, and progress payments to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities1. Subcontractor & Vendor Management

  • Register sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers upon receipt of their company profiles.
  • Identify and source new contractors to ensure a competitive tendering environment.

  • Tender & Quotation Support

  • Prepare tender/quotation documents based on approved construction drawings and specifications.

  • Coordinate clarification sessions with sub-contractors regarding received tenders or quotations.

  • Contract Administration

  • Assist in the issuance of Letters of Award (LOA) to appointed sub-contractors.

  • Support the preparation and verification of interim payment certificates and claims.

  • Site & Quantity Work

  • Assist in joint and final measurement work with project teams and sub-contractors.

  • Perform quantity take-offs and maintain accurate project cost records.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Building Services.

  • Skills:

  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
