About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant - Purchasing to support daily purchasing operations and supplier coordination. This role ensures smooth order processing, accurate records, and timely delivery of materials to meet company needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and verify Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requests or sales orders
  • Coordinate with suppliers on order status, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of goods received, invoices, and stock movements
  • Prepare weekly reports on stock balance, pending deliveries, and shipment updates
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation of supplier statements and purchase summaries
  • Support product data updates, system maintenance, suppliers and warehouse coordination

What we're looking for

  • Min SPM qualification
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship or coursework experience in supply chain, business, or related fields are encouraged to apply
  • Preferably with experience in supplier coordination, sourcing, or logistics support
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, for accurate data management and reporting
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SQL, SAP) will be an added advantage
