Safety & Health Officer Manager Wanted (Mandarin Speaker) – Tampoi, Johor.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve the company's EHS management system.
  • Formulate, review, and execute safety management policies, procedures, and SOPs in compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and related regulations.
  • Manage and maintain all safety, environmental, and sanitation equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective and preventive actions effectively.
  • Lead and conduct in-house safety and health training programs for all employees to enhance awareness and competency.
  • Investigate and document all workplace accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and diseases, maintaining accurate statistics and reports for DOSH reference.
  • Inspect, maintain, and service fire alarm systems and firefighting equipment to comply with BOMBA standards.
  • Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC),safety committee meetings, and internal safety audits.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans in environmental health and safety performance areas.
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and promote a culture of proactive safety management across all departments.

Job requirements:

  • Diploma or higher education level in any relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role; experience in a foreign-owned manufacturing company will be an added advantage.
  • Certified competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) registered with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book holder).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1994, Factories and Machinery Act (FMA), and other relevant Malaysian safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Mandarin, Malay, and English (both written and spoken). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM10,000.00 per month
