What you'll be doing?
  • Strategic Assortment Analysis: Analyze category performance, identify gaps, and propose data-driven strategies to improve product mix and overall category performance.
  • Predictive Modeling: Conduct "what-if" simulations to forecast the impact of assortment changes and make informed decisions.
  • Tool Development: Support the creation and implementation of automated tools and dashboards for efficient assortment planning and optimization.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the impact of optimization decisions on sales, turnover, and stock efficiency.
  • Stock Allocation: Strategically allocate inventory across stores based on demand forecasts, capacity, and sales trends to maximize sales potential.
  • Demand-Driven Replenishment: Ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, merchandising, retail, IT, and analytics teams to execute strategies and enhance allocation tools.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: At least 5 years of experience in category management, assortment planning, allocation, or supply chain roles.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI) and ability to work with large datasets using SQL & Python.
  • Analytical Mindset: Capability to identify assortment opportunities, recommend category adjustments, and optimize inventory performance.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for tracking stock levels, sales, and category performance to ensure timely action.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, create action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to present data-driven decisions to cross-functional teams.
  • Time Management: Adept at handling multiple priorities (assortment, allocation, and reporting) simultaneously.
