Key Responsibilities:

  • General Property Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) to ensure all properties are well-maintained.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Respond to maintenance requests from customer service and operation team, diagnosing issues, and conducting repairs on time.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize emergency repairs and ensure the longevity of property assets (e.g., air conditioning, appliances, plumbing systems).
  • Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and larger maintenance projects, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
  • Emergency Response: Be on call for emergency maintenance issues, ensuring quick response and resolution of urgent problems affecting guest stays or property functionality.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring everything is available for regular and emergency repairs.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of property units, identifying potential issues and taking proactive steps to resolve them before they escalate.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, and that properties meet local building codes and standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of maintenance activities, costs, repairs, and inspections, providing regular reports to the Operations Manager.
  • Cost Management: Work within budgetary constraints to manage maintenance costs, negotiate with vendors, and purchase materials at the best prices.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with housekeeping, property management, and guest services teams to address all maintenance issues promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM3,800.00 per month
