Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
IT Recruiter
to join our IT consulting recruitment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified IT professionals for contract and permanent roles. This role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract IT professionals through job portals, social media, referrals, databases, and networking.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for technical roles (Developers, QA, BA, PM, Infra, Cloud, etc.).
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing channels and talent pools.
- Review resumes and evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and suitability.
- Conduct preliminary interviews (phone/virtual) to assess communication, availability, and fit.
- Coordinate technical interviews, assessments, and client evaluations.
- Understand client requirements, job descriptions, and project expectations
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure smooth communication.
- Ensure timely submission of CVs, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer negotiation.
- Maintain accurate and updated candidate records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support in preparing offer letters, contracts, and onboarding.
- Meet daily/weekly KPIs for sourcing, submission, interviews, and placements.
- Share weekly progress reports with the recruitment manager and management.
- Analyse recruitment data and suggest improvements to optimise hiring timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and job market trends.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment portals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong prioritisation, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivery.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT recruitment in an agency.
- Experience in staff augmentation/contract hiring.
