Job Description

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join the dynamic team at PCO Eastgate Sdn Bhd, based in Klang, Selangor. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling full set accounts, accounts receivables and accounts payables, and statutory compliance. This role also requires collaboration with auditors, tax agents and secretaries, alongside expertise in Sales and Service Tax (SST) and e-Invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full set accounts including preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, balance sheet, and profit & loss accounts
  • Manage and oversee accounts receivables and accounts payables processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment collections
  • Preparing and processing financial transactions, including bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries for year-end audits and statutory filings
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, particularly related to Sales and Service Tax (SST)
  • Prepare and submit SST returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines
  • Support the implementation and management of e-Invoicing systems and ensure proper integration with accounting practices
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts
  • Maintain financial records and internal controls in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any discrepancies

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in full set accounts, financial statement preparation, and month-end/year-end closing processes
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices, and procedures, and SST compliance
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SQL) and spreadsheet applications
