About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive / Account Assistant to join our dynamic team at GC Forwarding Services Sdn Bhd in Bandar Puteri Klang, Selangor. This full-time role will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping support to our growing business.

Job Description

  • Perform data entry, invoice processing, billing, receipts and preparation of payments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and filing systems.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Provide support for tax and audit requirements.
  • Issue and submit e-Invoices to LHDN.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting function.
  • Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Experience in accounting or billing (logistics industry is a bonus).
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Proficient in using accounting software (SQL) and Microsoft office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mandarin speaker.
