Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth
Develop and execute plans to drive revenue growth for all company products.
- Establish and control budgets for sales promotions and trade expenses.
- Negotiate yearly trading terms with customers.
- Minimize returns through optimal product mix and forecast allocation.
- Forecast sales and gather insights on market trends to improve performance.
Curate value-based selling offerings to enhance key accounts' sales effectiveness and long-term relationships.
Customer Relationship Management
Visit customers/retailers regularly to understand their needs, resolve issues, and build strong relationships.
- Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Serve as the communication link between key customers/retailers and internal teams.
Resolve issues and complaints to maintain trust and align with business objectives.
Merchandising & Promotion
Ensure optimal display locations and adherence to planograms.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute promotions and generate high sales volume.
- Prepare and implement strong selling stories based on inputs from Marketing, Category Marketing, and Key Account teams.
- Monitor and report on promotional effectiveness and sales performance.
Support merchandising efforts by identifying display locations and collaborating with product specialists.
Other Tasks
Ensure timely and accurate customer payments
- Ensure collections and aging are up to date for assigned accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ bachelor's degree in marketing/ business/ supply chain or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin
- Minimum 3 years' experience in related field.
- A hands-on, proactive, independent, responsible, high integrity, detail and result-oriented person.
- Good task management and cross functional team coordination skills (a team player)
- Excellent communications skills, collaborate easily with others, and adapt agilely.
- Possess own transport.
