Purchasing Assistant

- Maintain vendor master list and update purchasing record
- Perform general filing duties, maintain organized documentation and ensure history record are easy to retrieve.
- Prepare and issues PO, determines and negotiate prices, delivery and ensure order confirmed returned.
- Ensure that Purchases are correctly invoiced/completed and delivered in a timely manner
- Support account department in payment arrangement for suppliers or subcontractors.
- To liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations of purchasing activities.
- Sourcing/Request quotation/sample/price negotiation with suppliers.
- Handling and processing purchase requisitions (PRF), request for quotation (RFQ) and payment request.
- Preparing Purchasing Monthly Report.
- Any other task/assigned by the Head of Department.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in business studies or any equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 years working experience in the Purchasing environment
- Candidates specializing in Purchasing / Inventory / Building Material or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Resourceful, self-drive, proactive and independent
- Fresh graduate are encourage to apply
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to negotiate with suppliers.
- Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access)
- Multitasking skills and good organizational abilities
- Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment
