We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our procurement team. The incumbent will support the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services required for our projects, ensure timely delivery, maintain accurate records and contribute to cost-effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing quotations and purchase requisitions.
  • Raise and maintain purchase orders, contracts and related documentation.
  • Monitor deliveries, coordinate with internal departments (site, stores, projects) to ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Maintain supplier database and periodically review vendor performance.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to ensure favourable terms, quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate Procurement records in line with company's compliance and audit requirements.
  • Support ad-hoc purchasing and project-support tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent qualification.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, negotiation skills and a good command of written and spoken English and Malay.
  • Good organisational skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Basic computer literacy, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced construction environment.
