Job Overview

As a Pre-Sales Specialist, you will handle all technical aspects of the sales cycle by determining technical requirements, matching them with the services and solutions offered by the company. You will explain the solution and offering to customers in a clear and concise format with the goal of convincing them to buy the solution and services offered.

The pre-sales specialist will be responsible for designing Co-location technical solutions for existing and potential customers, will have knowledge of Data Center (Advantage if have experience AutoCad drawing, M&E design) and will have experience of supporting sales functions in a technical environment.

The role requires extensive knowledge of Data Center topologies and technologies, and demands the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

The Work Life

  • Able to handle and produce technical proposal and tender related submission.
  • Able to understand data center facilities setup, and identify opportunities for DC business
  • Understand customers need and able to provide solutions, propose & design rack/space layout to suit customer requirement.
  • Able to maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Familiar with the Malaysia Data Center market.
  • Able to develop a DC ecosystem to meet customer needs.
  • Technical proposal writing for RFI/RFQ/RFP/Presentation to be provided to customers
  • Build and maintain good rapport and relationship with clients
  • Able to present technical solution, and understand customer technical pain point and provide adequate solutions.

All You Need

  • 2 years of DC facilities & M&E experience.
  • Possesses strong sensibility for DC technology.
  • At least elementary level in AutoCad drawing skill
  • Understanding Data Center M&E Single Line Diagram, redundancy topology
  • Understanding Data Center Standard, TIA 942, Uptime Institute, Tier Classification
  • Can-do spirit, Self-motivation, Good team work, Good adversity quotient, adaptable to challenges and pressures
  • Open minded, Good interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills in multi-culture organizations
