Job Summary:

Responsible for managing various aspects of daily collection, general accounting data entry, payment processing, and overall maintenance of accounting records. This role involves handling diverse financial tasks such as bank reconciliation, unknown collection reconciliation, and processing payments for suppliers, staff claims, salesman commissions, utilities, rental, and other general expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Collection Management:

  • Ensure the daily collection records are up-to-date.
  • Reconcile unknown collections as per the bank statement.

General Accounting Data Entry:

  • Perform data entry tasks related to general accounting.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and filing systems.

Payment Processing:

  • Prepare and process payments for suppliers, staff claims, salesman commissions, utilities, rental, HP installment, and other general expenses.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Bank Reconciliation:

  • Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Keep the outstanding collection records in sync with bank statements.

Ad-Hoc Functions:

  • Handle any ad-hoc functions and tasks assigned by the manager.
  • Adapt to evolving financial requirements and contribute to special projects as needed.

Sales Commission Management:

  • Provide outstanding and sales commission details to salesmen.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely commission payments.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience at an audit firm is required.
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
