Job Summary
This role is responsible for growing both import and export volumes by acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones. The position also focuses on specialized cargo services, digitalization initiatives, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by securing new business and maintaining key accounts (CIF & FOB shipments)
  • Promote and develop special cargo services (reefer, out-of-gauge, etc.)
  • Conduct regular client and stakeholder engagements to understand challenges and deliver solutions
  • Perform market analysis to identify growth opportunities and support business expansion
  • Maximize support from internal account plans and initiate rate requests with trade teams
  • Advocate digital tools and platforms to enhance e-commerce engagement
  • Monitor and manage long-stay containers to optimize asset utilization
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and proposals in the CRM system
  • Track sales progress, identify business potential, and follow up on leads
  • Analyze sales and rate data for trends, compliance, and performance insights
  • Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues with creative problem-solving

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the shipping or related industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems
  • Comfortable using modern digital tools and proficient in MS Office
  • Degree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered
