About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our Hotel Division in Melaka. As our Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and managing key client relationships for our hotel portfolio. What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across our hotel properties
  2. Identifying and prospecting new corporate, travel agency, and group accounts to expand our client base
  3. Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients through regular communication and service excellence
  4. Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
  5. Collaborating with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and sales collateral
  6. Providing regular sales and performance reports to the management team
  7. Mentoring and developing the sales team to ensure high levels of customer service and achievement of targets

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in hotel sales, preferably within the hospitality industry in Malaysia
  2. Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing a client portfolio
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  4. Strong commercial acumen and a keen understanding of the local hospitality market
  5. Proficiency in using sales and CRM software to manage accounts and pipeline
  6. A collaborative and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  7. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
