Overview

The role focuses on maintaining and improving all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) assets within the plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. In addition, the position provides technical support for new projects, upgrades, and process improvements, directly impacting productivity, safety, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide the E&I team within the Packaging Division, overseeing equipment reliability, spare parts, and maintenance activities.
  • Develop, implement, and track preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
  • Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to monitor work orders, spares, and maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Plant teams on repairs, modifications, and system installations.
  • Lead improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, control costs, and enable plant expansion.
  • Ensure full compliance with EHS standards and enforce department safety practices.
  • Prepare reports, conduct data analysis, and provide technical solutions to E&I challenges.
  • Coach, train, and evaluate team members to strengthen technical capability and performance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Power, or related engineering discipline.
  • 5–8 years' practical experience in E&I engineering, covering design, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of automation/control and electrical systems.
  • Solid background in manufacturing, process plants, or packaging industries.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or project management.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-400, S preferred.
  • Familiarity with edible oil, food processing, or oleochemical plants is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Understanding of CMMS systems, safety compliance, and preventive/predictive maintenance practices.
