Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
English Literature Tutor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for classic and modern literary works, strong analytical skills, and a passion for inspiring students to explore the richness of language, culture, and context in literature.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions in English Literature (IGCSE, A-Level, IB, or equivalent).
  • Help students develop literary analysis, essay writing, and critical thinking skills.
  • Create lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a supportive, motivating, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience (IGCSE, A-Level, IB, or university level preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make complex literary concepts accessible and engaging.
  • Reliable internet connection and proficiency in using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
