Job Responsibilities

(a To review, develop and recommend to the Board of Directors (BOD) as well as adapt, when necessary, on the development of industry initiatives related to new business, underwriting, servicing, claims etc. for the strengthen of Family Takaful Technical and Operations;

(b To initiate and undertake research and development for the Family Takaful industry by way of reviewing new and existing regulations issues by Government Agencies, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) etc.;

(c To initiate educational programs for consumers and partners to create and improve awareness in relation to Family takaful operations and services;

(d To communicate and represent the industry in engagements with external others industry associates (i.e. Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) and obtain feedback on the issues;

(e To escalate matters and recommendations from the subcommittee to the BOD for endorsement and advice.

Requirements

·       Degree in Finance, Accounts or Actuary from recognized institution

·       At least 2-3 years of working experience in Takaful industry or Islamic Finance services.

·       Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

·       Knowledge in Power BI or equivalent will be an added value

·       Able to work independently and in a team

·       Able to handle high volume of work with speed and accuracy

·       Good inter-personal skills
