Role Description

The Executive / Senior Executive (Insurance Broking) is responsible for delivering end-to-end broking support, client servicing, and operational coordination for both Employee Benefits (EB) and General Insurance portfolios. The role requires hands-on experience, the ability to work independently, and strong familiarity with broking processes, compliance standards, and insurer practices. The incumbent will manage daily operations, ensure timely servicing, and support business development and retention activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Servicing & Relationship Management:
    Provide consultation, respond to enquiries, maintain strong client relationships, and assist with claims follow-up.
  • Policy Administration & Documentation:
    Handle quotations, proposals, policy issuance, certificates, renewals, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Sales Support & Marketing:
    Support lead follow-up, marketing initiatives, and product/market reviews for business growth.
  • Financial Coordination & Reporting:
    Coordinate premiums, commission and collections, liaise with Finance, and prepare operational reports.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company SOPs, maintain audit readiness, and monitor risk exposures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certification

  • BCCITB certificate is required.
  • Diploma or Degree in Insurance or related discipline is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum
    3–5 years of hands-on experience
    in the insurance broking industry.
  • Well-versed in both Employee Benefits (EB) and General Insurance
    .
  • Strong background in client servicing, policy administration, and renewal management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of broking workflows, underwriting processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
  • Knowledge of broking systems/software is an advantage.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
