Job Summary

Queens College Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Human Resource Executive to oversee day-to-day HR operations, support organizational growth, and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and staff development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of HR experience, preferably as a Generalist, with a strong background in recruitment, employee relations, and training coordination.

Key Responsibilities

· HR Operations & Administration

· Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, leave management, and employee database maintenance.

· Ensure HR processes comply with Malaysia's labor laws and institutional policies.

· Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and manuals in alignment with company standards.

· Recruitment & Staffing

· Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and offer letters.

· Work closely with department heads to understand manpower needs and ensure timely hiring.

· Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for both academic and administrative positions.

· Employee Relations & Engagement

· Serve as the first point of contact for staff matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.

· Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives and employee welfare programmes.

· Support disciplinary and performance management processes.

· Training & Development

· Plan, organize, and track employee training programmes to enhance staff competency and performance.

· Coordinate internal and external training sessions, including liaising with HRD Corp for claimable courses.

· Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.

· Performance & Compliance

· Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems and KPIs.

· Ensure proper documentation and compliance with HR statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.).

· Support HR audits and management reporting.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably as an HR Generalist.

· Strong understanding of Malaysian Employment Act and HR best practices.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience handling staff training programmes is an added advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

· Independent, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Salary: Starting from RM3,500 (Negotiable based on experience)
