About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Shipping Assistant/Customer Services to join our dynamic team at AROPAK SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting our import/export and customs operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaising with clients to coordinate shipping and logistics for import/export activities
  • Processing and tracking shipments, including preparing necessary documentation and liaising with customs authorities
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases of shipping activities
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and analysis related to shipping and logistics
  • Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the import/export and customs processes

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience in the import/export or logistics industry, preferably with exposure to customs procedures
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the import/export and customs sector
