Our client is seeking a highly experienced
General Manager
to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all production-related departments, including
Maintenance, Warehouse, PMC, Quality, Handwork, Printing, Post Press, and PIE
. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimization, production quality, workflow excellence, and timely delivery of customer orders in alignment with company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and manage daily operations across all production departments.
  • Oversee production planning, capacity, and schedules to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs: machine uptime, on-time delivery, scrap rate, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and production efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department managers, fostering a high-performing team culture.
  • Collaborate with HR on manpower planning, recruitment, and skills development.
  • Ensure strict adherence to
    ISO standards, factory SOPs, and safety regulations
    .
  • Serve as the primary liaison between factory operations and senior management.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

  • Machine uptime and downtime control
  • On-time delivery (OTD) performance
  • Scrap and defect rate reduction
  • Labor productivity and cost efficiency
  • Inventory accuracy and material usage
  • Customer complaint resolution
  • Continuous improvement and operational excellence

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum
    8–10 years' experience
    in
    Manufacturing, Electronics, Printing & Packaging
    industries.
  • Proven track record managing multi-department operations.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, machinery, and planning systems.
  • Expertise in
    Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
    methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in
    English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu
